The 2025 group start is on 24th May at 8.30a.m.

Send an email with a brief resume of your bikepacking experience on tough, off-road, multi-day bikepacking routes and events. Please include proof of your rides (event results, Strava activities, etc...). If you have applied for previous editions do mention that. Please don't add attachments (PDF files, etc..) to your email, I won't open them. There are usually many more applications than places available. I will only reply to your email if your application is successful.
If accepted for the group start you will need to donate a minimum of ten trees in the Highland Trail grove to secure your place.

All riders must use a tracker for the ride and sign up to the Trackleaders HT550 tracking website. You will need to learn how to use it prior to the event and leave it in tracking mode when you are moving.
If you wish to be included on the finisher list you will need to provide a link to your ride on Strava or a GPX track.
Once again in 2025 the HT550 will be supported by The Real Food Cafe in Tyndrum, an independent, ethical business that has partnered with us since 2019. https://therealfoodcafe.com/pages/find-us
